Billy But you did go to their medical centre today? You got bruising.
Lizzie I called.

Lizzie But my name they don’t know my name
Billy You said it’s your secret
Lizzie What my doctor says goes.
Billy It’s all over town Lizzie.
Lizzie No I understand. I wasn’t due to go back until May but they said come in for a check up. I said I have something rubbing that I can’t feel.
Billy And then you hung up?
Lizzie Last thing they said was thank you
Billy They won’t know you
Lizzie I can’t tell them my name but I just turned 18 and it’s a fight every day to stop people knowing I will never get old.
Billy Relax I won’t tell a soul.
Lizzie I haven’t eaten for days.
Billy Eat some fudge. Pure energy. Keep you going for days.

Fudge recipe –
150ml milk
450g demerara sugar
115g butter
397g can Condensed Milk
Get ready –
20cm square tin lined with baking paper

How to Simmer and Stir –
Place the ingredients into a non-stick saucepan and melt over low heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
While you are stirring the fudge will be HOT so take care!
Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring continuously and scraping the base of the pan.
Test it is ready by dropping a bit of the mixture into a jug of iced water. A soft ball of fudge should form. If you have a sugar thermometer the temperature should be around 118°C.
Remove from the heat and beat the fudge until it is thick and starting to set (about 10 minutes). Sprinkle in nuts or chocolate chips according to your taste.
Pour the mixture into a prepared tin. Leave to cool and then cut into squares.
